Lois Kirtlan named as a Finalist at the Enterprise Vision Awards

Owner and Managing Director of Hetty & Betty, Lois Kirtlan, has been named as a Finalist for Best Hospitality Business at the Enterprise Vision Awards (EVAs)

The EVAs “champion the women who are shaping the future of entrepreneurship and are beacons of inspiration for the next generation of entrepreneurs. These awards distinguish women who are a driving force for change, women who are building businesses, creating a positive impact and making a real difference in our communities. Success isn’t simply based on turnover – it’s about impact, growth, creativity, ethics, passion, and unwavering commitment, all embodied by the incredible women behind these businesses.”

Lois said “I’m very honoured and grateful to be named as a Finalist amongst some amazing women entrepreneurs. Even though I’m the owner, Hetty & Betty is very much a team effort, so to be recognised as Finalist for my contribution to that team is amazing.”

“I am passionate about changing the perception of hospitality away from being a “stepping stone” career move to proving that it is an industry that has real career progression and business ownership opportunities. I started my hospitality journey at 17 as a junior hotel receptionist, and here I am leading an award winning restaurant and venue”

The winners will be announced on 27th September at a glitzy awards evening in Blackpool’s Winter Gardens, which is set to have “more sequins than strictly”.
