Whitby Goth Weekend – make it as unique as you are!
Whitby Goth Weekend is the bi-annual celebration of the alternative, weird and wonderful.
The event first started in September 1994 by a group of 39 music loving penpals. Choosing to hold the event in Whitby due to its connections to Dracula, the event has continued to snowball ever since its first debut.
Held twice a year, it is an inclusive festival that welcomes everyone, and celebrates all alternative lifestyles. Consisting of two nights of live music, boat trips, dances, and three days of over 100 alternative market stalls, it really has become one of Whitby’s staples for good reason. With a great diverse community and a fabulous variety of unique people to see and meet whether you have visited before or it’s your first visit to the Whitby Goth Weekend, you can be sure of a great time. Check out the event schedule at Whitby Goth Weekend.
