Our beautiful period ballroom is a room of two halves, with a lovely feature fireplace in the centre. With its large ornate mirrors, its feature wall, and wooden floor, make it the perfect backdrop for a whole range of wedding themes.

Whatever style you have in mind, we can help you achieve your vision.

We offer two packages, the Abbey Package and the Jet Package. Both include:

  • Hire of the Ballroom including private bar
  • Table Plan display
  • Tables with table cloths
  • Table runners
  • Chair covers
  • Chair sashes (choice of colours)
  • Table centrepiece for guest tables
  • Top table dressing
  • Cake table with table cloth
  • Use of our cake knife
  • Lunch for up to 30 guests (an extra charge is made for extra guests)
  • Drinks for toasts
  • Dedicated Venue Co-Ordinator – so wherever you are in the country, you know that your arrangements are being carried out in your absence.

Your choice of either a buffet lunch or a three course meal will determine which package is best for you. We also offer a range of extras from large lit letters and blossom trees to card postboxes, candy carts and more.


Whatever theme you have in mind, from 1950s rock and roll, to classic vintage, gothic, or even a superhero theme, we can help, with specially designed centrepieces.

We are centrally based in Whitby, within a five minute walking distance of the train station, a stones throw from the taxi rank, and a two minute walk from the harbour car park.

Whether it’s a small intimate event, or something a bit bigger, we can provide the perfect space.
