Whatever the time of year, there is always something happening her in Whitby. And for the festive season, the Whitby Ice Rink makes its return and this year the ice rink is bigger than ever.
The ice rink was an initiative brought to life by the not-for-profit group Welcome to Whitby. The same group were responsible for the “Thank you NHS weekend”, where key workers were treated to a free weekend in `Whitby for their scarifies and hard work during the pandemic.
The ice rink is situated just a few yards from our beautiful cafe and restaurant, across New Quay Road, in the Harbour Car Park. It is housed in all-weather marquee, so you can enjoy it whatever the weather. And don’t forget to pop into Hetty & Betty to warm up with one off our festive Afternoon Teas which include unlimited hot chocolate. It’s a perfect way to spend some quality festive family time.
